photo shop, can you fix the white background?

make a background with alpha 0

EDITED: when I open it in PS I can clearly see it w/ no background, but on my map, i can't get it to save that way, and I don't have PS on my PC

Edit: Nevarmind, same with Paint.net, it comes transparent in the backround... maybe if i copy it from the top
